Depressing your Kingpin PAL system does two things.  In order to be compliant the takedown pin must first open the receiver.  That is stage 1 of the PAL System.  After the receiver is opened then you can legally release the magazine.  That is stage 2 of the PAL System.  Provided you installed your AR Maglock system correctly one press of the PAL System will activate Stage 1 first and then Stage 2 to execute a magazine change in your rifle.  At no point prior to Stage 2 will you be able to release the magazine.

It's that easy. No more fumbling with reloads.  Left-handers are no longer forgotten about.  Get your Kingpin PAL system and start speeding up those California Compliant reloads.

The Kingpin PAL system only comes with the Lever Arm that installs onto your existing AR Maglock and Kingpin equipped rifle.

If you need an AR Maglock with Kingpin choose the "Add AR Maglock Gen 2 With Black Kingpin" option.

If you are converting from the Hellfighter to the AR Maglock system you may need a bolt catch if you dont have one.  Click here for link and add to your cart.

IMPORTANT COMPATABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Make sure you are using the entire AR Maglock Gen 2 or Gen 4 system.  This includes their Kingpin rear takedown pin and fixed mag system.
  • Make sure your system isn't mixed and matched with any Juggernaut Tactical Hellfighter products or ANY other rear takedown pin
  • Please make sure you don't have any ambidextrous controls such as Ambi Bolt Release.  Although some have modified their AR Maglock to work with ambidextrous controls it will not work with the PAL system.  In most cases Ambi safeties will work with the PAL
  • The Kingpin PAL is designed to work with standard MILSPEC lowers and uppers.  We cannot guarantee functions with Billet lowers and uppers or mixes of the two.

INSTALLATION

Installing your Kingpin PAL only requires removing your detent and detent spring.  This means you will have to remove your castle nut and back plate to do so.  Depending on your lower it is possible to install the PAL system without removing the AR Maglock otherwise you will also have to uninstall your AR Maglock and reinstall once the PAL is in place.

DISCLAIMER:

KLVR AND ITS PRODUCTS ARE NOT AFFILIATED WITH AR MAGLOCK

PAL SYSTEMS ARE NOT COMPLIANCE DEVICES.  THEY ONLY ASSIST IN THE USE OF THE FIXED MAG COMPLIANCE DEVICE ALREADY INSTALLED ON YOUR RIFLE.  INSTALLATION OF THE PAL SYSTEM BY ITSELF DOES NOT MAKE A RIFLE FIXED MAG COMPLIANT.

INSTALLATION GUIDE FOR YOUR KINGPIN PAL

1. Treat Every Firearm as if It Is Loaded

2. Always Keep the Muzzle Pointed in a Safe Direction

3. Be Sure of Your Target and Aware of What Is Beyond

4. Keep Your Finger Outside of the Trigger Guard Until You Are Ready to Shoot

Please make sure firearm is unloaded and barrel and chamber are clear of any live ammunition and loaded magazines.

Before proceeding we suggest that you consult a licensed gunsmith for installation.

INSTALLING YOUR KINGPIN PAL

- First ensure that your Kingpin moves freely with the upper receiver on. Cerakote, Wedges and set screws such as Aero M4 that tighten the tolerances of your receivers work against a smooth operating Kingpin.

- You will need to remove your rear takedown pin detent and spring

- Remove upper receiver from lower and prepare all parts as show in image

STEP 1

On most milspec lower receivers you can insert the Kingpin PAL under the AR MAGLOCK as shown in image. Insert all the way to the 90 degree bend.

If you cannot insert the arm loosen your AR Maglock slightly until you're able to do so and then retighten your Maglock.

STEP 2

Align the arm with the rear takedown pin hole as shown in image

Reinstall your upper receiver

STEP 3

With upper receiver installed insert your Kingpin into the receiver and orient the release channel of the Kingpin with the small detent in the PAL arm as shown

STEP 4

Install the Kingpin as normal by rotating it into the locking position.

Compression of the Kingpin spring may make it a little difficult to turn.

Apply pressure to the Kingpin as needed and hold the PAL arm as close to the receiver as possible.

STEP 5

Ensure the release channel of the Kingpin is facing forward as shown in the image.

Your Kingpin PAL is now installed.

Insert a magazine and test for function.

To uninstall and diassemble your firearm reverse steps above.
