There is one thing in most properly functioning AR-15 rifles that signify and empty weapon and thats activation of the bolt catch through interaction with the magazine follower. We found a way to harness that energy to release your magazine.

Introducing the L-RAD auto magazine release system.

Through our patented proprietary system when the bolt catch locks the BCG back it activates our ambi magazine release to drop the magazine to signify its time to charge back up. Perfect for the competition shooter where fractions of seconds matter.

Previously only offered on 3000.00 boutique rifles the system replaces only your bolt catch and magazine catch without any modification whatsoever. The cool thing is if you want to retain your magazine you simply set it in the off position and your rifle will operate as normal.

COMPATABILITY REQUIREMENTS

L-RAD fits on standard Mil-Spec Direct Impingement AR-15 rifles with non-ambidextrous controls.

May fit on Billet receivers with non-ambidextrous controls

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CALIFORNIA PURCHASES:

To be used only on Featureless or Registered Assault Weapons that use standard magazine releases.

Cannot be legally used with Fixed Magazine rifles. Doing so will make your rifle non-compliant.

INSTALLATION OF YOUR L-RAD SYSTEM

1. Treat Every Firearm as if It Is Loaded

2. Always Keep the Muzzle Pointed in a Safe Direction

3. Be Sure of Your Target and Aware of What Is Beyond

4. Keep Your Finger Outside of the Trigger Guard Until You Are Ready to Shoot

Please make sure firearm is unloaded and barrel and chamber are clear of any live ammunition and loaded magazines.

Before proceeding we suggest that you consult a licensed gunsmith for installation.

INSTALLING YOUR L-RAD SYSTEM

You will need to remove your magazine button, spring and catch as well as your existing bolt catch.

For stripped lower builds proceed to step 1

STEP 1

Install the L-RAD bolt catch and punch in the roll pin with the proper gunsmithing tools.

Ensure that the bolt catch moves easily and without restrictions.

STEP 2

Once L-RAD is installed move the paddle towards the back of the receiver to the OFF position.

STEP 3

Install the L-RAD magazine catch.

Cannot be use with any other ambidextrous magazine catch or standard magazine catch

STEP 4

Install spring and the 2EZ magazine button

Use a screw driver to install the 2EZ magazine release button as you will not be able to spin the magazine catch to install the button

NOTE: If you are using your own magazine button you will need to install the L-RADmagazine catch, spring and button before you install the L-RAD bolt catch

STEP 5

Your L-RAD system is now installed.

Turn it to the on position when testing with live ammunition.
